Our Sector, Our Vision - ONN Provincial Forum

Join ONN and your sector colleagues for what will be an action-oriented forum to build a common agenda to address the issues that confront us. This gathering will give you an opportunity to network with new and old friends from across the province and participate in building a stronger, more resilient nonprofit sector.

Over the 2 days of the forum you will:

• Get updates on important sector issues
• Give your own update on your sector's challenges
• Work with colleagues to identify common issues
• Work together to shape a provincial strategy
• Visit Toronto's hub for social innovation and community change - The Centre for Social Innovation - for a reception with provincial colleagues

               HR Management Standards: Creating Effective Organizations

The HR Council's HR Management Standards are intended to inspire, educate and support board members, managers and employees with regard to the fundamental role HR management policies and practices have in creating effective organizations.

Whether you're starting from scratch or want to evaluate existing practices, join us for this workshop to learn more about the Standards and other free HR Council tools and resources that will help you better manage your organization's HR management practices.

At the session you'll have the opportunity to:

• Learn more about the Standards and how to access a new interactive online tool
• Assess your organization's current HR management practices
• Identify strategies to move your organization forward
• Share ideas and information with other non-profit leaders
• Learn how to access other free HR Council tools and resources
